BbcFootball is a sub-section of BBC SPORT, the Premier League's free-to-air highlights broadcasting partner in the United Kingdom.
This is the home of the longest-running national football
program, Match of the Day (MOTD), which airs on Saturday evenings.
The popular football show, which is now over 50 years old,
airs on weekdays after the midweek Premier League fixtures.
MOTD is presented by Gary Lineker, an ex-England striker,
and includes expert analysis by a number of former Premier League players,
including Alan Shearer (top scorer), Ian Wright, Jermaine Jenniferas, Phil
Neville, and Danny Murphy.
Match Of The Day 2 (MOTD2) highlights Sunday's matches
and provides a more detailed analysis of the weekend's action.
In the 2019/20 season, MOTDx launched
as a midweek magazine program.
Hosted and hosted by Jermaine Jenniferas, the show explores
the world of music, fashion, and culture related to football.
BBC Sport
and BBCFootball
also publishes content on its digital platforms, including BBC iPlayer, BBC
Sport's Facebook and Instagram pages, Twitter, and YouTube pages.
The BBCFootball
broadcasts Football Focus on Saturdays and Final Score, a score,
roundup, and results in service for Saturday matches.
The Premier League was forced to reopen its 2019/20 season
behind closed doors due to the coronavirus pandemic. To allow more UK fans to
watch the action, the BBCFootball
broadcast four live PL matches from the campaign.
